Dunieth

Dunieth is a continent spanning the subarctic zone of Kyaww-catar from the north down to as far as the wasteland of the Underdeep Blightlands. There are three nation-states that control most of the habitable land on the continent - the Nikosian Empire, the Ka'aras Sovereignty, and Nethron. It is bordered on the west by the Aurora Ocean.

Dunieth varies greatly across its regions with regards to ethnic groups, cultures, and environments, with a mix of many different climates ranging from the cold mountain range of Kyaww-catar, temperate areas such as Chiwu-zhi and Nethron, the tropical rainforests of Jangara the hot desert of Ka'aras, to the blasted wasteland of the Underdeep Blightlands.

History

Pre-Draconic Era

Prior to being settled by Miacid diaspora such as the People of Fel, Dunieth was not known to be populated by any of the civilized peoples of Zairis. However, some regions of Ka'aras were populated by the various X'rk't tribes before being displaced by Vul Empire colonists.

The first group of Mithrosi settlers were the People of Fel, who made landfall in what would be modern day Leograu and from there parted ways, spreading into all directions and forming the various subspecies of felines.
