Ka'aras City

Ka'aras City is the capital of the Ka'aras Sovereignty, with a population of 6 million, and is the second largest city in the continent of Dunieth, and the 7th largest worldwide.

History

The site of Ka'aras City was the first to be settled by the Vul Empire colonists who would eventually become sand vulpines as they landed in the region, and was then named Araisrueh. It was renamed as it was made the capital of the region following the destruction of a large part of Ska-rui, the fall of the Skar Empire and the subsequent establishment of the Sovereignty.

Geography

Ka'aras City is situated at the delta of the Rhuxai River where it flows into the Aurora Ocean, right to the west of the Ka'aras Sovereignty's border with the Zauana province of the Nikosian Empire.

Economy

Ka'aras City's economy has traditionally been based on a combination of agriculture within its administrative boundaries along the banks of the Rhuxai River, as well as the management of trade goods moving from settlements such as Ruby downriver and over to Zauana and beyond. The modern productive sector has since expanded in the Imperial Era to include developments in textiles, food processing, and tourism.
