Randegosa

Randegosa the Leviathan is a Primordial deity responsible for the creation and rule of the oceans of Zairis. She is the founder and patron deity of the Aquantis Dominion, an undersea empire that stretches across the entirety of the Aquantean Ocean and beyond, which she leads alongside her protégée Sera Dagon.

Appearance

Randegosa takes the form of a colossal aquatic creature that slightly resembles a dragon, despite having no relation to them origin-wise. A large part of her body is covered in various kinds of aquatic detritus, both of organic origin such as barnacles and starfish, as well as man-made sea hunting implements, which are the doing of the demigod Patrek Sharktooth, who hunts her in retaliation for the perceived slight of taking his lover, who was lost at sea, away from him.

Following

As a ruler of a whole nation, Randegosa draws a large number of followers from just that fact. In addition, being a sea deity grants her the additional following of coastal settlement inhabitants, especially those who draw their livelihood from the sea, such as fishermen.

Political role

As one of the two heads of state of the Theodiarchic Dominion of Aquantis, Randegosa and Sera Dagon are both responsible for personally approving of any decision, legislative or executive, of the Blue Council, and hold veto power, should they deem it necessary. To this end, Randegosa has an avatar present at the Blue Council at all times.
