Blackwood Circle

The Blackwood Circle is a sect of Iris' following that goes against the Viridian Circle's interpretations by their practice of druidic arts forbidden to other circles. It rejects the Viridian Circle's promotion of harmony with both nature and the rest of society, instead advocating for a law-of-the-jungle lifestyle of providing for yourself, yours, and what also benefits you, above anything else.

Structure

While their most sacred site outside of Irididendros is the shrine in the Blackwood called the Blackened Henge, their leadership is decentralized, with each sub-organization adopting its own system according to its needs.

Relations with other sects

While Iris and the Viridian Circle officially disawow the Blackwood Circle's doctrine and consider it heretical, they nevertheless tolerate its existence, due to its members' efforts in keeping remaining pockets of miasma in Blackwood contained.
