Fenrir

Fenrir, the Champion-God of Frysgard and his People, is the chief deity of the Gardic Civilization and modern Fenrans, and the singular object of worship of the Fenran Faith. He is associated with valor in battle, hunting, the cold, wisdom, and rulership.

History

Much of Fenrir's mortal past is shrouded in mystery, but his heritage has been claimed to be many things, such as a Whitemane, a direct descendant of Loup, the legendary progenitor of all Fenrans, and an illegitimate son of Morik, though he has confirmed none of these claims himself. The one confirmed fact of from this time, which is well documented in the Fenran Faith's religious texts and Gardic history, is that he was the leader of the exodus of a significant number of the People of Loup from the location that corresponds to the highlands of modern day Kyaww-catar on an ice bridge that led to Frysgard, which he is credited with maintaining throughout the entire crossing of thousands of his followers by exercising his tremendous prowess with Ice magic.

As far as Fenrir himself is converned, he has only ever acknowledged the truth of accounts of events including and following the exodus to Frysgard and his subsequent apotheosis.

Fenrir has fathered several demigods, of which the most notable one is Sven the Mountain-Tosser.

In 7440 DC, Fenrir decided to depart the realm of Zairis and proposed the formation of the Nordguard to help safeguard the Gardic Civilizations in his absence.
