Tyr Bloodmaw

Tyr Bloodmaw, the Bloody-Handed is an exalted deity who acts as the chief warlord of the Bloodmaw Clan and is also their sole object of worship. His domain is solely violence, and his divine sigil depicts a bloody clawed hand.

Appearance

Tyr appears as he did prior to his apotheosis - as a male frost Fenran. True to his moniker, Tyr's hands and arms are covered in red dye up to his shoulders in the semblance of blood, which was the start of the Bloodmaw Clan's custom to dye their hands and arms as a personal tally of kills.

Abilities and skills

Tyr is the primary originator of the martial art of Berserkergang, in which he instructs those members of the Bloodmaw Clan that he has deemed worthy.

History

Tyr was one of the People of Loup who followed Fenrir across the Wintersea in 0 DC. He was a member of one of the factions who were opposed to moving and wanted to fight the encroaching Kyaww-fel instead, but instead of staying behind his faction elected to join Fenrir's trek across the sea, ceding to majority rule.

As Fenrir ascended to godhood, Tyr was uneasy about the prospect of being ruled directly by a deity, and soon after, he challenged Fenrir to a duel for the leadership of the Gardic Civilization. During the duel, he bit down on Fenrir's throat, and reacting to the divine essence in Fenrir's blood, was instantly filled with divine power. He let Fenrir go, proclaimed that if the Gardic Civilization was to be ruled by a god, it should be forever be torn apart between two gods. With those words, he left the duel grounds and was followed by a large contingent of warriors who had been impressed by his display in the duel. The fur around his mouth was now forever stained with Fenrir's blood, thus earning himself the name of Bloodmaw, and his companions were named the Bloodmaw Clan in honor of that.
