Masea

Masea is a city in the Smoke Bay region of Mithros with a population of 6.6 million. It is situated on an island off the eastern coast of Smoke Bay, and is the administrative city of Maston County, which also includes the smaller settlements of Maston and Marsham. It houses the original base of operations of the Coalition of Mithrosi Trade Associations, which still operates there as it originally did, though it also functions as the administrative body of the city, much like the way it does in many other Mithrosi cities. It also remains the Mithrosi center of international commerce as it did under the Kingdom of Mithros, as well, owing to its superior position to Cania as a marine trade hub.

History

Oldest records

In the Pre-Draconic Era, the location that comprises modern-day Masea was the founding site of the last known capital of the Vul Empire. Famously, it was there that Vul himself met his end by self-immolation.
