Helgatt

Helgatt (Gardic for hell-gate) is a large town in the Nordheim Mountains built on the slopes of the single known active volcano in the region, Mount Helgatt. Some hold the belief that the crater of the voclano is a gateway to the Underdeep, even if there are neither records nor evidence of a demonic invasion ever making it to Frysgard, most likely due to Fenrir's protection of the continent. In addition, the area is also known for being the site of the only major metal refinery on Frysgard, which is owned and operated by Coalition colonists.

Population

Helgatt has a population of 26,000, mostly consisting of frost Fenrans of the Irontooth Clan.
