Nordheim Mountains

The Nordheim Mountains are a mountain range that runs all the way through the continent of Frysgard, separating the tundra and forest covered Sydstrand Coast on the south from the impassable megaglacier to the north called Glasjer. They're some of the tallest mountains in Zairis, with Mount Helgatt being the tallest mountain among them whose height is confirmed. Due to their northerly location, they're almost perpetually covered in snow, with the exception of a small window of several weeks around summer solstice. Compared to Sydstrand Coast, they are sparsely populated, with the largest settlement being the industrial town of Helgatt with a population of 26,000, named for the volcano on the slopes it is built on.
