Azazel

Azazel is an ancient black dragon of the second generation, sired by Krozhikhar, a first generation black dragon, with an unknown gold dragon mother. He is the Speaker of the Black Dragonflight at the Flightsmoot, and is the Chief Executive of the Coalition Board of Executives.

Appearance

Azazel has had himself heavily modified both inside and out with cybernetics and built-on armor. A notable feature of the armor is a prototype active camouflage system supplemented by Azazel's auratic powers.

Personality

Azazel has witnessed many a personal tragedy play out across millennia as an effect of the curse laid on the Black Dragonflight, and has vowed to find a way to end it, leading to many decisions of questionable morality, such as the creation of the Coalition, as well as many unethical experiment and administrative actions conducted under his oversight. Despite this, Azazel is an affable sort, having lent his aid to the silver dragon Argencia, granting her asylum and hiding her from the Red Dragonflight, as well as having an ongoing partnership with Gnoziāk, the Copper Dragonflight's Speaker, influencing the Coalition to grant copper dragons legal status on par with the civilized peoples in Coalition territories, which in turn has resulted in copper dragon engineers and researchers being pivotal in cementing the Coalition's technological superiority over its rivals.
