History

Founding

New Cania was officially founded by the Kingdom of Mithros as its colonial seat of government shortly after permanent camps were established there in 9402.

The New Cania Treaty

As New Cania had become a major tourist attraction by the 9850s, the crumbling of the Kingdom in 10088 threatened to tear the city apart in territorial dispute. To prevent this, following pressure from travel industries on both sides, the New Cania Treaty was signed between the Royalist Alliance of Mithros, the Coalition, the Aquantis Dominion, and the Mahogany Tribe, with the former two factions ceding their claim to the territory.
