Fenrir's Crossing

Fenrir's Crossing is a small village in the northeast corner of the Nordheim Mountains. It is best known for being a pilgrimage site for all Fenrans of the Fenran Faith, as it is the last known location of Fenrir before his departure from Zairis in 7440 DC.

Population

All 36 permanent residents of Fenrir's Crossing are frost Fenrans, any others are forbidden to settle there.

Government

The administration of village affairs as well as its protection is overseen by the Shatterhammer Clan. They forbid any non-Fenran visitors to the administrative zone surrounding the village, citing the site's sacred nature as well as logistical reasons to keep the pilgrimages proceeding smoothly due to the sheer number of pilgrims, as the site is open to them all year round.

Infrastructure

Fenrir's Crossing proper does not offer much in the way of services, but many opportunistic entrepreneurs have started businesses that offer lodgings and food for pilgrims by the road leading there. The village itself consists of a meeting hall, a guard barracks, and houses of the inhabitants.

The main attraction to pilgrims, a small shrine that confers Fenrir's blessing to any Fenran who pays their respects there, is positioned in the center of the village square.
