Strifeforged

The Strifeforged are a group of warriors who have been marked and granted immortality by the Primordial deity Morik as his chosen champions, and accompany his avatars on the battlefield. While those warriors who emerge as Strifeforged relinquish their names and other vestiges of their idenities in Morik's service, many of them have been identified as great fighters who had previously been documented as missing in action or thought to be killed in bettle.

History

The Strifeforged have been Morik's companions for nearly as long as the societal role of the warrior has existed in Zairis. The oldest known member, while not identified by name, is a Miacid from the early Vul Empire of the Pre-Draconic Era, and at least a few even older members are speculated to exist.
