Stormark

Stormark (Gardic for Great-woods, sometimes improperly accented as 'Storm-Ark' by Mithrosi settlers) is the sole Royalist colony in Frysgard, situated in central Sydstrand Coast. It is jointly governed by a board of representatives appointed by CATAN and the Shatterhammer Clan. Its current governor as of 10110 DC is Gunnar Shatterhammer, who is also the chieftain of the Shatterhammer Clan. Its core settlement is Markstead, which houses both Fort Storm, the RAM's base of operations in Frysgard, and the Shatterhammer Clanhall.

Economy

Stormark's primary exports are, as to be expected by its geography, lumber and fish. The area is also moderately rich in silver and luminite ore and a few small mines have been established. In addition, oil deposits have been discovered within Stormark's naval jurisdiction of the Wintersea.
