Serrakka Strip

The Serrakka Strip is a region of the continent of Dunieth that is a long, narrow strip of land along the western coast of the south sector of the continent, which is otherwise almost entirely dominated by the Underdeep Blightlands. It is only about 70 km wide at its widest point but stretches for about 500 km along the coast. As a result of its situation, it is an extremely war-torn region, with various nations displaced by the Blight fighting over the ever diminishing land. A narrow mountain pass in the north end of the Serrakka Strip that leads into Ka'aras is the safest route out of the region, which is still extremely dangerous, due to the extreme sandstorms the plague the west end of the desert. It is still considered preferable to braving the blight to the east or the unusually tumultous sea to the west by those seeking a better life by fleeing the region.
