Qa Sol

Qa Sol, also known as the Golden Scourge of the Sands and the Heir of Sengiel, is a Gold dragon ascended to memetic deity status due to her patronage of the various nomadic tribes in the desert of Ka'aras. In addition, she serves as the Gold Dragonflight's Speaker at the Flightsmoot. Her divine domains includ the sun, hunting, and traveling, and her divine sigil depicts a gold dragon carrying a mantle drake in its talons. Her auratic elements are Fire, Light, Air, Earth, and Metal.

Appearance and physical features

Qa Sol's overall physical form remains mostly that of a typical gold dragon, with golden, radiant scales, but since her ascent to deity status, she has developed physical features that set her apart from even the Shards of Ardothun. Most obvious are her serpentine features from the neck and up, sporting a cobra-like hood and face. Her horns have disappeared and were replaced with six levitating golden, pyramid shapes that float in a halo-like formation above her head. Most strikingly, she is the only dragon in existence who has feathered wings. In addition, she has quill-like claws that can be detach and be launched as projectiles, that regrow instantly and whose length can be adjusted at will.

History

Ascension

Qa Sol ascended to deity status on the back of her hunting habits. As her favorite meal was tongue of mantle drake, she would follow groups of desert nomads on their travels and wait for a drake to attempt to swallow the travellers. Once it did, she would swoop in to rip the tongue out of the drake, incidentally saving the lives of her bait. After doing this for years, the stories of her had spread across most of the nomad tribes and offerings of drake tongue were left to her as a token of good luck ahead of particularly perilous voyages.
