Nanuk Clanpact
The Nanuk Clanpact is an alliance between the various clans of Nanuk in Frysgard, formed reluctantly out of necessity to stave off looming extinction due to Fenrans encroaching on Nanuk lands.
Tenets
The pact revolves around several tenets by which all Nanuk must live, with violation resulting in banishment. The tenets are preached and enforced by Pact-keepers, who are individuals appointed to safeguard knowledge of the tenets as originally agreed upon, due to the fact that the Nanuk language has no written component.
- Nanuk shall not slay Nanuk
- Disputes shall be settled by arbitration, not blood
- Amarok [Fenrans] are the Enemy. Consorting with the Enemy is forbidden.
- Prey is limited. Only catch what is needed, use all of your prey, and preserve any excess.
