Gray Marsh

The Gray Marsh is the southernmost region of Mithros, extending from the east edge of Smoke Bay to the easternmost point of Mithros, where it borders with Blackwood.

Geography

Terrain

True to its name, most of the land that comprises the Gray Marsh is coastal wetland. It has a generally gloomy atmosphere resulting from its proximity to Blackwood, though not to the same extent, as the demonic miasma from the past invasions of that region never reached the Gray Marsh proper in significant quantities.

Settlements

The Gray Marsh is one of the more sparse regions of Mithros in terms of number and size of population centers. They are as follows:

• Crows' Landing
• Murkpond

Flora & fauna

In terms of local flora, of particular note is the Gray Auratic Waterlily, a rare flower that grows exclusively in the Gray Marsh and whose petals are an excellent focus for several elements of Aura.
