Galleon

Galleon is a small island city in the middle of Smoke Bay region of Mithros. It was first settled by the Leviathanic Guard renegades who founded the noble House Theos, and it draws its name from the first class of ship they encountered in the bay. It is the current site of Seabase Aleph, the headquarters of the Coalition Navy.

History

Under the Kingdom of Mithros, Galleon and a few surrounding smaller islands were considered a duchy, conferring the title of Duke upon the House Theos patriarch.

In the last few years of the Theos Dynasty, the seat of the Monarch of Mithros was briefly moved to Galleon on the orders of King Arkhen Theos III. Following his death in 8697 DC, it was moved back to Cania, and the hold of Galleon was downgraded to a barony under House Ressh.

In 10085, the construction of a large shipyard on the north side of the island was started in secret, and was revealed to be the Coalition Navy's first Seabase at the start of the Coalition coup of Cania.
