Draconic Martial Arts

Draconic Martial Arts (DMA) is a group of martial art styles practiced exclusively by dracons that emphasizes the use of the physical and auratic traits they have inherited from their dragon progenitors, such as their tails and breath weapons. It was originally developed in the Mithril Era by an alliance of dragon cults within the Free Dracon States.

Styles

In the post-Imperial Era, modern DMA is divided into ten distinct styles, emulating the temperaments and abilities of the ten dragonflights.

Basic styles

• Brown style
• Copper Style
• White Style

Advanced styles

• Black Style is considered particularly brutal and underhanded and is banned in sanctioned events by the WDMAA.
• Iron Style emphasizes long-term defense with the goal of finishing rounds with one powerful blow after wearing the opponent out.
• Red Style, conversely, focuses on all-out offense and finishing the opponent off as fast as possible.

Specialized styles

• Blue Style is specialized for underwater fighting.
• Green Style is specialized for the use of venom in disabling their opponent.

• Gold Style
• Silver Style
