Wizard

The rank of Wizard is bestowed upon accomplished magicians who have obtained a research doctorate in the field of Auratic Studies. However, "wizard" is merely the common accepted title of the rank, and each institute of auratic studies has its own name for it. For instance, Indigo Auratics, the corporation responsible for auratic research on behalf of the Coalition, only refers to it as Doctor of Auratic Studies or AuS.D.. Other examples of such titles used by other institutions are High Magician and Grand Magus.
