Thrice-Visaged Bearer of Bounty

The Thrice-Visaged Bearer of Bounty is a middle stratum Kami who is commonly revered by those who work the land for sustenance in remote regions of Zairis, far away from the preachers of the Primordial Faith. It is named for its three aspects, reflecting the three main sources of food common in those regions.

Worship

The Thrice-Visaged is most commonly revered in the form of offerings left in the open arms of an idol depicting a humanoid, most often a masculine Fenran or vulpine, with three masks, with the central mask and a tool strapped to the idol reflecting which of the three aspects a particular idol is devoted to.

The Three Aspects

Aspect of the Fisher

The mask worn by the aspect of the Fisher is, appropriately, modeled after a fish. The tool it wears is a net or fishing rod.

Aspect of the Hunter

The mask worn by the aspect of the Hunter is modeled after a prey animal, usually a deer. The tool it wears is typically a bow, though various other hunting implements have also been seen adorning an idol, such as traps.

Aspect of the Reaper

The mask of the Reaper is a plain mask made from canvas, and idols devoted specifically to the Reaper are often additionally adorned with a straw hat, reminiscent of a scarecrow, and have a sickle or scythe strapped to their backs.
