Spellfighter

Spellfighters, also sometimes referred to as combat magicians, are magicians who specialize inusing their magic to complement their training in mundane combat arts in a way that supplements their abilities by enhancing their physical acuity and covering the typical weaknesses of mundane combatants.

Equipment

Most spellfighters wear heavy armor and wield a melee weapon they use both as a mundane combatant would, as well as a focus for their spells; the latter of which is a skill unique to spellfighters. However, such a weapon needs to be suitable for the task of conducting Aura and are thus often custom made; materials such as mithril are ideal for this. In the absence of a properly Aura-conducting weapon, a spellfighter can instead resort to wielding a mundane weapon in their main hand and a traditional spell focus, such as a wand or orb in their off hand.
