Draven Vos

Archduke Draven Vos (9199-9244) is the ruler of the Chiropteran Archduchy, who resides in Castle Vos. He is the highest ranked of the Chiropterans who survived the post-extinction revivification process, and thus holds executive power over all of the Archduchy's zone of influence.

Appearance

Draven is a male Chiropteran standing at 5 feet and 5 inches, about average height for his species. His particular version of the revivification process seems to have drained most pigments from his body, and as such, his fur appears nearly white, with only a faint hint of its previous brown hue remianing. He drapes himself in the traditional vestments of his office, slightly frayed but impeccably cleaned, and walks with a limp acquired from an injury suffered in the war, relying on a cane when not taking flight.

Background

In life, Draven was the second-in-command of the Chiropteran Realm's infantry forces. As his forces were defeated at the final battle of the Blakewing Citadel in 9244, he retreated to his home of Castle Vos, where he, along with the entirety of his castle's population, enacted the mass ritual suicide mirrored in every other surviving holding of the Realm that was to be performed in the event of defeat by Miraak Drech II's forces.

With the fall of the Kingdom of Mithros in the Coalition coup of Cania in 10088 DC, the conditions of the revivification ritual were in place, and Draven woke up from his unburied coffin.
