Cania Palace
Cania Palace was the seat of the Monarch of Mithros prior to the Kingdom's destruction in the Coalition coup of Cania in 10088 DC. It last housed King Archon Drech XI, his (at the time) heiress presumptive, Siria Drech II, along with their closest advisors and a staff of roughly 300 servants and guards.
History
The design and construction of the palace was a passion project of King Reyan Tai II and his court architect Quirrai Muirus. The project was proposed and started in 7871 DC and took six years to finish. It was met with criticism by many of the other noble houses for being an overly showy and frivolous pursuit, but was later cited as one of a few major factors in keeping Cania as the capital of the Kingdom instead of moving it to the House Tai heartland of Marsham, when the act was proposed in 8112 DC.
