Divine invocation

Divine invocation is the act of imbuing a prayer with Aura, in a manner of offering it to the deity being prayed to, as an alternative to spellcasting in a way typical to auratic practitioners. It is primarily the purview of priests and clerics and similar classes of practitioners. The act of casting divine invocations offers greater overall power (as it is granted by a deity), at the cost of greater restriction (as the manner of result is limited by the deity being prayed to, and the acts performed in the name of the deity are restricted by the tenets of following said deity). Divine invocations are considered a fringe discipline under the field of auratic studies.
