Demonic miasma

Demonic miasma is the physical manifestation of a demon's aura of corruption, said to represent the spite with which the disgraced Primordial Abraxas scars the face of Zairis. It clings on to and leaves a residue on the surfaces it touches and twists into resembling the demonic, turning the lands of Zairis into a facsimile of the Underdeep, and the living into the demon-blooded.
